Move 6 feet away from your closest neighbor, and take a deep breath

Then pull an idea or two each day from our tips below.

Physical

  • Try to develop good sleep habits.  The CDC has some quick tips to help.

  • Check out these recipes from PDX Monthly.  Find your inner Julia Child!

  • OR check out these resources for in home exercises

Spiritual

  • If you’re religious continue to respect and honor your beliefs. If this means attending services look into some online alternatives.

  • Virtually explore five or our National Parks

Occupational

  • Five tips on working from home with children.

  • Learn some new Microsoft Office skills.

  • Take this time to make sure you're all caught up on your professional certifications, and continuing education credits.

Intellectual

  • Take a look at these MOOCs. Don't know what that is?  Click to find out.

  • Audible is offering free audiobooks for kids.

Social

Environmental

Emotional

  • Stressed about not filing taxes yet?  The tax deadline for Federal taxes was pushed back to July 15th; however this does not include your state taxes so you’ll want to directly check your state filing deadlines.

    • Update:  IL state taxes have been moved back to July 15th as well.

  • Laughter is a large component of being emotionally well.  I would love to share a video from my favorite motivational speaker Matt Foley.  Please enjoy.

Keep your head up, world.  We'll get through this.
